About TripwireGTM
How the platform works and how to get the most out of it.
What is TripwireGTM?
TripwireGTM is a signal detection and sales intelligence platform. It continuously monitors public regulatory data sources — FDA recalls, warning letters, enforcement actions — and turns them into actionable sales leads.
When a new signal is detected, the platform automatically enriches it with company contacts, scores its priority, and pushes it into a CRM pipeline so your team can act on it quickly.
How the Pipeline Works
Every signal flows through a 5-step pipeline. You can see the progress of each step on every signal card:
Detected
A new record is found from a data source (e.g. an FDA recall is published).
Deduped
The system checks whether this signal already exists to prevent duplicates.
Enriched
Company contacts (names, titles, emails) are automatically looked up and attached to the signal.
Scored
A priority score from 0–100 is calculated based on severity, product type, contact quality, and recency.
Pushed
High-value signals are pushed to your CRM and a notification is sent to your team.
How Scoring Works
Each signal receives a score from 0 to 100. The score is the sum of four factors:
| Factor | Points | How it's calculated |
|---|---|---|
| Severity | 10 – 40 | High = 40, Medium = 25, Low = 10 |
| Product type | 0 – 20 | +20 if the product matches high-value categories like supplements, baby food, or protein powder |
| Contact quality | 0 – 15 | +15 if a VP, Director, or C-level contact is found; +5 if any contact with an email is found |
| Recency | 5 – 20 | +20 if within 3 days, +15 within a week, +10 within 2 weeks, +5 otherwise |
A score of 75+ generally indicates a high-priority lead worth immediate outreach. Scores below 30 are typically older or low-severity signals with limited contact data.
Using the Platform
Timeline
Your main feed. All detected signals appear here in real-time, sorted newest first. Use the filters to narrow by severity, source, or time range. Signals detected within the last hour are highlighted in green.
Sources
View and manage your data sources. Each source shows its schedule, run history, and signal yield. Click a source to expand its details, or click Invoke to trigger an immediate fetch. Sources automatically run on their configured schedule.
CRM Pipeline
A Kanban board for managing your leads. Signals start as 'New Lead' and can be dragged between stages: Contacted, Qualified, Proposal, Won, or Lost. Each card shows the company, severity, score, and source. Click a company name to see its full details.
Demo
A testing tool. Inject a synthetic signal into the live pipeline and watch it flow through each stage in real-time. Useful for demonstrating the platform or testing your workflow.
Data Sources
The platform currently monitors the following public regulatory sources:
FDA Recalls & Withdrawals
Safety recalls and market withdrawals published on the FDA website.
openFDA Enforcement
Enforcement reports from the openFDA public API, covering food, drug, and device actions.
FDA Warning Letters
Warning letters issued to companies for regulatory violations.
Sources are checked every hour. New signals appear on the Timeline automatically and flow through the full pipeline within seconds.

Tips
- •Use the 1 hour time filter on the Timeline to see only the freshest signals.
- •Click any company name to see full details — contacts, score breakdown, source URL, and pipeline status.
- •On the CRM board, drag cards between columns or use the dropdown on hover to change stages.
- •Sources have a 5-minute cooldown between manual invocations to avoid overloading upstream APIs.
- •Scores update automatically when contacts are enriched — a signal's score may increase as the pipeline completes.
